Let me tell you a story...

At approx. 7:00pm Sydney time yesterday, I decided I could get an easy scalp from the Hang Seng rally into close - an easy 100p LONG. Minimal risk, tight stop, decent size trade.

At approx. 7:10pm I hear a horrifying THUD! followed by my kid screaming... I naturally run to his aid. Upon my return to Market Marker (Yes that's right CFD/Margin)... I see that I have scored my 100p LONG.... BUT THE MARKET HAD CLOSED!!!

So there I was, for 17+ hours, feeling like vomiting every time I moved. HARDCORE LONG, on HANG SENG, and Global Markets are collapsing...

Finally, after a nail biting night (No sleep). Hang Seng opens... DOWN 500p!

MARGIN CALL ! ! MARGIN CALL ! ! MARGIN CALL ! !

I decide to hold - All or Nothing now!

At approx. 1:05pm today I excited my Hang Seng trade with a 200p profit.

Moral of the story...? I think there are many...
