That's not much different to saying she did a terrible job at work yesterday when the share price fell 3%, but today she is doing a much better job because it is up 2%. She must have clocked in early today and really ripped in.
I'm pretty comfortable to accept that things had not been great at AMP before she took over. Maybe there should have been better disclosure of that beforehand to the market, but blaming the Chair for a whole heap of issues they had little control over isn't fully fair.
