Can see this as feasible Rob.& probably the MRP the source of next weeks ann as flagged.....with Vedanta/Lyell mine as the copper source....of course assuming that the MRP at Hellyer remains the focus.
Re my BHP (& Outotec comments).... previously a smelter onsite had been ruled out but the SA govt are pushing for domestic (& environmentally friendly processing), rather than all offshore as conc.
Current ODam processing is outotec "flash smelting" but Hydrocopper process is attractive from a cost and environmental perspective; and planned "new" China smelter also raises interesting scenarios that could eventuate...or not...imo
