If past is prologue, I reckon we can expect continued underwhelming management and stock price performance, all while the management team and the board of directors spin a whole new definition of “success.”
Let us now gaze into the crystal ball and see what MIGHT transpire in the coming year:
January 2024 - Quarterly Activities report will be released. Based on historical reports, likely nothing new to report. Perhaps the completion of a gas sales agreement.
Feb - Announcements about HELIUM!!!
March 2024 - Half Year Investor Presentation. A PowerPoint presentation by the LD and the management team. Followed by a Q&A session in which only a select few advanced questions are not really answered.
April - June 2024 - More “HELIUM! HELIUM!! HELIUM!!!” Cheerleading from Leon, Mick, and the rest of the Board.
July 2024 - Following the close of the fiscal year on 30 June and despite the stock price clinging to $0.04 the BOD extends LD’s contract, gives him a pay rise, along with generous bonus, and more share rights.
August 2024 - More gas agreements announced. More HELIUM cheerleading. “HELIUM, HELIUM, HELIUM!!! GO HELIUM!!!”
September 2024 - All the Directors exercise share rights from previous years. Annual report for year ending 30 June gets released. Can we say “SPIN” boys and girls?
October 2024 - Nothing much happens.
November 2024 - Annual General Meeting (AGM). Lots of talk about how “great” Management performed, all while the stock price clings by its fingernails to $0.04. The meeting will also include the usual non-answers during Q&A. Immediately following the AGM, CTP will announce the sale of more company assets, which of course wasn’t brought up in the meeting. CTP Board will be issued generous share rights.
December 2024 - Not much happensTo sum up, despite some small variations, we can expect that 2024 will be just another year of “lather, rinse, repeat” at CTP.
