I had my old 280 hit in the same spot. Parked in the street to do my daily constitutional and when I came back, the driver's door was crushed. AAMI is still fixing it (because of stupid panelbeaters) and it's costing them almost as much! The panelbeaters didn't know how to switch the alarm off -even though I had told them- so they cut "some wires" and put them together, stuffing up almost every electrical connection! Talk about Dodgy Brothers! But it is getting on and I'm looking around for something newer. I loved that car though. Smoothest thing I've ever driven, hardly any repairs, though a bit of a juice sucker.
