Within Asia, Vietnam and Cambodia are pretty safe imo (have just got back from 2.5 wks there).
I am not keen on any asian countries with a significant Muslim population as rightly or wrongly I associate that with the risk of terrorism and laws I just don't agree with. After the Indonesians executed our citizens last year I vowed never to travel there.
Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, parts of South America.
