Hi friends,
As more and more traders finally recognise that VPG is better traded long term and held long for months and possibly years in line with the expected recovery in the property sector, swing traders will need to look for clues for short term swings of sufficient strength that would cover brokerage and a thin margin of profits to trade the short term swings.
Short term swings that often carry sufficient strength for such purposes are the edge band transaction where a stock is purchased when it hits the edge band of a price envelope, and the mid-band transaction timing, where the price break out out of a downtrendline drawn at the midband of a price envelope. Some traders will employ some sort of short term swing trading program to track these swings as well.
Here are two charts that will show some light on this, updated to the close of yesterday. The first chart shows the possibility of a midband transaction and the second chart shows the program trading signal for a short term swing trading system.
Please read the disclaimer below my signature line and the disclaimer on the charts.
May the best prices be yours
