No visibility on Work For Hire area, but based on my observation (i.e. App performance related sites), the latest mobile app 'Battle Simulator Warfare' is performing better than previous 'Toy Warfare', but not as much as 'Animal Warfare' success.
Other mobile apps released in the Q3 last year, 'Idle Area 51' and 'Toy Warfare' haven't been attractive to the market.
Their first MMO game 'World of Pets' with Norris Nuts (10M Youtube subscribers) is also not impressive as main players are kids and they don't have money to spend on the game. Already found complaints on no more game update from kids and even no more video updates from NN itself.
There is no doubt the next potential big thing could be their first PC title 'Age of Darkness Final Stand'. Lots of people are saying this game is very similar to 'They Are Billions' from the game concept and trailer released. I could see game developers from Playside trying their best to deliver a good quality version of the game in the early access on Steam soon.
I saw the article 'They Are Billions' have been sold 750K copies in the early access a few years back. Not yet announce the game price, but if they can bring this game a lot of interest to RTS game players over the world, the reward could be quite considerable.
I am looking forward to playing this game by myself in the early access.
Even though 4 times more sellers than buyers at the moment and another down trend of SP, this FY for Playside Studios might be very interesting.
