I am under the American system, so I looked up the PSCs to see what they were. Are you not under a parliamentarian system? Under the Westminster system there are PSCs that shadow departments and special purpose PSCs. While some of the PSCs may have power and influence because of the position and members, none of them seem to have any authority to make an decisions whatsoever, which means they are advisory.

If they give the executive a report the executive generally has 60 days to respond. That is what they will do here. Issue a report. Nothing more.

It will not have any effect on the TOL whatsoever. Further, I do not see a purpose they can change the PSC to address which will have any effect on the TOL. It can make recommendations in its report, but that's it.

As an American, is there anybody who can shed light on any possible way we might be endangered by the PSC? The TOL will be issued long before the PSC finishes its report, so I see no possible way it will effect us. But I am open to the possibility from a reputable source.
