I disagree with you and the other 99 TUppers (I liked the post as well but more from a humorous pov).
Dodds has put up a very selective bunch of negatives about WPL. He has omitted to provide balance by not showing what WPL got right during that same period (WPL's SP reflects it though).
I think that the chart that I provided earlier (which more or less covers the period he was referring to) reflects the stark reality. I.e. a punt on WPL back then (the time of the selectively chosen WPL stuff ups) would be worth 4 x more than a punt on FAR. And lets face it, would you rather have your dough in a X$Bn Co (WPL) or a $Ym (FAR)?
My sentiment on FAR is still "buy" (but only in a casino type sense) and lets not bag a Co. (WPL) which has proved to be way more successful and stable over the period that Dodds talks about.

Also, all this crap about loyalty to a Co. and long term shareholders is precisely that. Crap. We are in this to make a buck. Management play the game very well indeed. Short it. Long term hold, trade it. Who gives a?

    Roll the dice!

    Go FAR!
