When you put it like that and when you consider how brilliantly the COP/WPL deal got cut off at the pass you can't help wonder what deal is being 'cooked up' and with who behind the scenes.

I know there is a view by some on here that the Senegal Gov has to be seen as impartial and legally squeaky clean through this approval process, but we need to remember it's not them but WPL and COP who look to have got the legally wrong, if not bent. FAR look certain now that they were right by claiming the PE period has not started because some sort of legal process hasn't been followed which in my opinion excepts the Gov from any legal risk of looking bias. In fact you could add that to your list of what FAR has done right and WPL has again got wrong.

No one will be able to say that the government has been bias or legally incorrect if they wave through FARs PE with a (gov) preferred partner who might come bearing gifts like a free carry for FAR and a bigger slice of the pie for Petrosen.

IMHO FAR looks to be in the box seat right now. I am more than happy to wait for them and the rest of the legitimate JV partners to get all the ducks in a row now before they announce the new JV structure and next steps for Dj.

Watching the down rampers and cynics crap on on here is just extra entertainment for me. I am ready to eat the hat that I promised to eat 6 months ago if FAR PE. And I'll wash it down with something nicely intoxicating.
