s8g, I can only speculate...but he's probably just a cluey investor himself. The world markets (including ours) are plummeting...and the good stocks are falling in line with the market. So he's just being clever by selling some of his holding and then simply be able to buy the same shares back at a lower price.
It's just clever investing in this type of market. I just wish I take more notice of these dips in the market and not be so emotionally attached to my shares.
