Reporting season is in full swing for Tandou after posted $1.2million profit for the half year to December 31 2011.
Managing director Guy Kingwill said the company has strong balance sheet which will suit cropping,pastoral and water businesses.
All eyes will be on Kingwill when tandou begin their harvest of what is to believe the biggest cotten harvest, a record 6660 hectare has been planted 65% larger then last season (4028).
Tandou will also plant 3500 hectare of ceral crops in Autumn(now).

For all, real term earnings from sheep industry enterprise are the highest since the heady years of the late 1980s? Tandou run a dorper flock which is a sheep that sheeds it's own wool,with wool prices at long term highs tandou will not benfit these prices due to the breed of sheep they run,after the 4th cross they do not need shearing.
In saying this they will benifit from the meat side.
