I have had this one on my watch list for a while, every time I think there will be a pull back there seems to be more buyers taking whats on offer, I have been trying for the last few weeks to accumulate a few at lower prices but it just keeps moving up...
With the current project at hand and drilling soon to begin I would say AUJ is being watched and I expect some serious action soon. Considering:
The Silverwood project has a of potential resource of 7.4 million barrels of oil and 12.3 billion cubic feet of gas, and is part of GGPs strategy to invest in low-cost, high impact, known hydrocarbon bearing areas which in the Companys view are moderately low risk in onshore Louisiana or Texas where its knowledge
base and operational experience has been established from its other projects.
The prospect is located under an existing field which produced 7.3 billion cubic feet of gas and 841,000
barrels of oil on a fault closure. Two high quality targets have been identified. The primary target called the
Vicksburg Sand is mainly shallow oil (9,300 ft) and the deeper target (Cockfield) is oil and gas (11,600 ft).
I will present more research as I find it, there is much to take into account with AUJ, at the current SP I think it presents excellent buying considering what is comeing up..
I have included below a look at the basic 12 month chart, as well as the current MD as of this morning for those interested.
Web site for those interested:
Augustus Minerals
Shares on Issue are only 40million with 10million unlisted shares (exercise price at .25 before 30thJuly 2010)
Cash on hand is currently just over $6million..
There are other projects at hand, however I suggest Silverwood Prospect will bring about a serious rerating as there expectations of oil and Gas are massive for this company..
Have a good look at this guys, could be a easy 100% gain or more over the next few months... Those that do know the way I trade will know that I do ring around and check the managment quality as well as do my best to put all the pieces together to secure my investment, AUJ looks very stong to me.
Stay Cool
regards
Drew
