Its not practical with thorium, if its going to cost $5,000 per kilo. No one would want to pay for electricity. It would be impossible to get funding for it as there is cheaper alternatives.
Thats why uranium will be around a long time.
As it is now under coal powered stations electricity is very expensive - here anyway in australia.
With the lack of funding from Europe and to get more expensive, its going to get difficult for many projects globally to get up and running. It was good sense for PDN to get funding now.
