Initial Assay Results – Argonaut’s Laos based Century Concession

The Directors of Argonaut Resources NL have received assay results covering both stream sediment and rock-chip samples. The results are from reconnaissance sampling conducted over all areas of the 300km2 Century concession.

Of the 402 rock-chip sample assays received to date, 60 samples reported greater than 1g/t Au, 19 samples reported greater than 10g/t Au and 7 samples reported greater than 50g/t Au with highest grade of 182g/t. In addition to these high-grade gold results, silver values up to 536g/t were also reported.

Of the 690 stream sediment sample assays received to date, 34 samples reported greater than 0.5g/t Au. An additional 35 stream sediment samples results are considered to be highly anomalous by the company.

Further assay results are pending and programs of exploration at the Century concession are ongoing. Recent results, as well as qualitative pan concentrate
sampling, have delineated nine prospects within the Century concession, of these seven will be accessible throughout the wet-season, which commences in May.
An application to progress trenching programs over these seven prospects has been lodged with the Department of Geology and Mines and it is anticipated the trenching program will commence this week.
