Dear Bondy,

I had a tiny trade through today too- does that count? It's not just the big boys weighing in- I was doing it for the minnows!

I can believe what is going on but I can't understand why any retails sellers would want to join their throng. They prey upon nerves and uncertainty and it is like taking candy off a baby.

When you consider that the Block 120 drilling is at 600m setting a casing; with a TD of 1,500m and it is hoped no more external adverse events, drilling might move ahead relatively quickly (dare I say it).

Is is possible that the Block 105 zones 4 & 5 are over pressured to the point of being unable to be exploited? If not, then wouldn't the only issue be quality of the gas and deliverability?

As to Mr. Market- it is not so much a question of him being right or wrong, it is more the fact that he controls the price. Mr. Market has no idea about NEN. So he is wrong in my eyes. But that is not the test. He can be wrong and allow a high price (look at the dotcom boom) and he can be wrong and allow a low price (look at NEN)! All that discussion is nugatory if you are a holder awaiting results of the current drilling campaign. I have said it before and believed it and I'll say it again believing it- I don't care if the price is walked down to 20c I am not selling.

I don't know much but I know that no one will get one NEN share off me until I am in clover or using my holding statement as a fire starter. There is no in between for me. I am committed and I am paid up. I am having all duck or no dinner. Call me mad, bad or sad- I know the risks, I play the game and I lie where I fall. How say you???
