Looking good

The price of seafood is looking good for these guys going forward. It's rising in line with Asian demand.

I wasn't a fan of the Sea Harvest takeover initially, but they do operate in 22 countries, so MTM's potential reach is now enormous, and substantially helped by their vertical business integration.

I'm expecting another acquisition in 2017, and with Sea Harvest's clout it could be something interesting.

The current fishing season seems to be going well, after getting off to a late start due to govt regulations. My understanding is as follows.
The prawn catch is slightly down.
    The crab catch is up.
    The scallop catch is up.
Prices for all seafood is up.
The value of the fishing fleet is up.

I'm hoping for news on sales into new markets, given the Sea Harvest takeover, this could be important.

And they certainly have some heavy hitters in the international seafood business on the board, and in management.

I continue to watch this very young company with interest. They don't believe in releasing a lot of notices, so long periods can go by without any news, which doesn't make them exciting, but for a shareholder interested in seafood and new companies, it is an intriguing hold.
