Yes and all AOV shareholders except Genner & Nissen (who helped themselves to a generous topup) got screwed, blued & tattoed. In 2001 AOV were suspended on lows at 12c, were then reconstructed 1:3 and came back on over a year later as Banquetec at 8c ie 2.66c. So that wasn't such a great deal was it & still not looking too good! Meanwhile AOV's 50:50 jv partner in Hunter Specialty Steels, Boulder Steel Ltd, now trades at 50c! Genner & Nissen wouldn't be breathing today if AOV hadn't been rescued from its disastorous plunge into Tin Australia - they shafted the bloke who got them out of that one.
