As I said previously, Cortona is a tightly held stock with investors waiting for the next instalment to unfold. Cortona is a promising gold junior in the right area of WA - the Kalgoorlie region.

There are some news to come out soon which may include the following:

* drilling results at Wombola Dam to increase confidence
levels of the resource.
* initial pit optimisation for Wombola Pit resource
* discussions with large nearby gold producers regarding
potential feedstock
* potential JORC resource upgrades
* commission scoping studies for both Wombola Pit/Dam
resource

The stock is trading at a low EV valuation, hence, given the possibility of cash-flow generation in 2007, this stock could move much higher leading up to possible production.

Great management team and little if any geo-political risk should be a great bonus to investors. A write-up in 'Resource Stocks' in December 2006 is worthy of a read.
