there was also some nice press in the AFR that AMP had shortlisted potential bidders for the UK business - Old Mutual, KKR and another whose name escapes me
I think the NAB move has focussed the market on the underlying worth and resilience of the Aussie business and if the UK assets get a decent price that is all a bonus
I'm sure slikk will disagree
