European Metals, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Geomet s.r.o., controls the mineral exploration licenses awarded by the Czech State over the Cinovec Lithium/Tin Project.
Three percent of the world's lithium reserves are estimated to be in the Czech Republic, mainly Cínovec, with 1.14 million tonnes of lithium. Preparations for mining, which will begin at the earliest in a few years, the memorandum was concluded by the Minister of Industry and Trade Jiří Havlíček (ČSSD) with EMH.
