Not sure about the plausibility, but it certainly makes for better reading... well, if you believe in
landrainbow rights for baby white gaywhalesunicorns and all that. Reality is our weighted average Ni grades are 0.89% (Resources) and 0.72% (Reserves), respectively. Calling grades of 2.2% is what happens when PR guys are let loose unsupervised with a calculator. And that's before we even start talking about the merits of the implied assumption of having enough ore tonnage to run our combined 3.7Mtpa (2.2Mt + 1.5Mt) plants at full capacity...
Squadron is currently at 17.9%, not 19.7%. Methinks he's gettin' confused (again) with BMM who are at 19.8%. The US$17.5m CN also currently converts to ~AU$25m, but what's $3-4m among friends.
He's just trying to generate some interest. Accuracy is optional.
