They need 5% first though. But i have also seen many occasions where they have forgotten or thru and accounting error not realised what they had in total until some time after or they have been nudged.I have seen in the past up to 12 month gaps!!
Only got to look at the excuse UBS gave to LNC last week in that regard with what happened mid and late may and not lodged until last week
Normally 2 business days they should notify!So who can you trust. Not that i'm saying its happening with MPO but they can get around things for a while even if it is several companies buying to pool at a later date to share a deal no way to link them is there.
(c) The person must give a copy of this notice:
(i) within 2 business days after they become aware of the information; or
(ii) by 9.30 am on the next trading day of the relevant securities exchange after they become aware of the
information if:
(A) a takeover bid is made for voting shares in the company or voting interests in the scheme; and
(B) the person becomes aware of the information during the bid period.
