Just studied A/Rpt. Chairman’s letter to shareholders page 1 “….some executive time has been allocated to the identification and pursuit of other opportunities to add value to GCR.”

Ryan (Chairman) has a background in Corporate Advisory and Corporate Finance with Schroders (UK Investment Bank) and Winchester Corporate Finance.

There must be some connection between the comment and Ryan’s background.

So far only thoughts are:
1. Corporate play involving Polymetals. Private profitable gold mining company with Swiss connections / shareholding (gold & deep pockets) and their ore vein appears to runs into GCR property albeit underground mining.
2. Float another vehicle with say Kempfield or one of the other properties. Often the sum of the parts is less than the parts individually especially when there are so many properties and several metals involved.

Also note MD (one of the largest shareholders never sold any shares through thick and thin) said in ASX announcement 23 Nov that a rig was on site and a 2 month drilling program had started and he looked forward to sharing the drill results with Shareholders over the next two months.

GCR has under performed the junior resource sector and might be due for some luck and a run. There are not too many junior explorers with as many projects threatening good things under their belt as GCR. We just need one for the Kipper.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
