Has anybody noticed that the A$ has gone through the roof and commidity companies like BHP, RIO, CDU, OZL are all going up? why is this? You would think a high A$ would make anything we export cost more and yet our commodity companies are going up!!! I think the reason is this quantitative easing and the prospect of inflation the prospect of inflation seems to far outweigh the extra cost of our high dollar.
THE THEME IN THE COMING MONTHS MUST BE COMMODITIES So far uranium, oil, gold have been mentioned the question is to know which ones are going to go up I agree gold might have got a bit overvalued but I would say with the propect of hyperinflation on the cards any commodity will go up. Perhaps, with our high dollar, we should be buying US assets eg property and stocks too
