wizard... I accept that potash is not like gold and should have used phosphate and even coal as a comparison. But my point stands: i.e. it only measures the width of the hole and these deposits are not uniform. They vary considerably and go from less than a metre to above 10 metres. Fact is previous exploration records show large wide deposit ON AVERAGE across many drillholes. Hence, (imo) it is drawing-a-long-bow to extrapolate the entire deposit (which stretches for many kms) from a 10cm diameter sample. Obviously the spot chosen was expected to produce something significantly better, and everyone is disappointed. FACT IS THE LAYER OF POTASH JUST METRES AWAY COULD BE TWICE AS THICK AND HIGHER IN GRADE. THESE THINGS ARE NEVER UNIFORM. EVEN A COAL BED jorc REQUIRES MULTIPLE HOLES BEFORE A CALCULATION CAN BE MADE. 2MILLION A POP IS HELLAVA EXPENSIVE DRILLING AND CONSIDERING HOW QUICKLY THE HOLE WAS COMPLETED IT SEEMS VERY EXPENSIVE.
PS. excuse caps. Am to busy to retype. Am not shouting.
