I don't know but it seems if oil prices stay high it opens up possibilities for coal to diesel etc....carbon capture is an issue but with time and price rises, previously marginal deposits become highly economic. eg some of the magnetite projects in WA are slowly getting off the ground
I don't know enough about coal stocks but am trying to research.
Scaddan has good infrastructure close to port (Esperance).
