it is just a conflation of interests, the inner city Sydney elite has had their eye on AGL ever since EnergyAustralia was sold to CLP out of Hong Kong now controlled by Beijing. origin is more QLD and NSW so hard to control.
Albo and his inner city Sydney Elite will probably let Origin be bought off by Brookfield.
As for AGL, future completely uncertain.
Being the ALP’s utilities company may not be of great to sholders.
