Karoon is the only oil stock that I hold. From day one when it listed. This was bought on the advice of my broker, who I must say, begged me to buy WPL when they were trading at $6. I currently hold 13 stocks on the ASX and not one of them are blue-chip. Thats my nature. I love to see a start up company succeed and thats where I get my biggest buzz.
For example - I recently purchased 2 million shares in a company called Benitec when they were trading at 2 c.
The reason I bought them is because I did a heap of research as I do with any company before I buy.
I tend to follow that famous US investor Baruch, who said "if you want to make big money, buy that which is being thrown away".
I believe Karoon will be a huge success in the not too distant future.
