Fair enough, for once a negative post on HC wasn't coming from a lying downramper. I stand corrected.
Obviously, with the extremely short cutoff for an online auction and given that the equipment was in the middle of nowhere with the buyer needing to collect it, it was never going to realise anywhere near its full market value.
It's an idiotic way to sell plant and equipment, but nothing more.
