it is sad, QF is heading south. Management is being rewarded when they cannot manage the IR issues in the business (A inherent management issue in QF). This combined with a ongoing loss in QF International, a very defensive response to the Virgin Australia threat domestically, proposing a very risky Asia strategy to be implemented some time in the future (Subject to Government negotiation in two countries where the Government has a investment in the incumbent), ongoing bad fleet decisions (resulting in ineffective route decisions) and a FF program more focussed more on FF loyalty than QF loyalty.
Where is the upside.
