SilentP and BridgeBaron...sorry to hear of your respective plights. Hang in there. The world still needs oil and ROC is now a genuine oiler and not just an explorer. Plus its got impressive 2P reserves.
ROC will have its recovery because there doesn't appear to be any logical reason why it has fallen like a stone for such a long time.
I'm sporting a massive blister on ROC as well and whenever I see the price tumble, I get out my records and look for the reasons I bought and for the valuations I ascribed. I've just done that now and I'm damned if I can see a logical reason why the market continues to flog ROC.
I'd like to know what "working with the short side" means as well. MBower can you please explain?
ROC has got some die hard shareholders with a lot of red ink showing and I figure that some 60% of the subscribers of The Intelligent Investor Newsletter would be holding them as the editors keep insisting its great value..and they are "value investors".
