This incorporated the old VivaNet which was launched by Intersuisse in a blaze of glory back in late 2000.
At the time, I was one of those who subscribed to the IPO @20c and who thought that the business model had sosme legs to it. Pity though the management, as well as buying contracts through sacrificing margin.
From what I recall, not once did Vivanet trade above its IPO price. It did, however, announce quite a number of contract wins, awards, etc (many, in a similar style /vein to what I am currently seeing in several other smaller placed telco-styled stocks).
Eventually, Vivanet closed out @~2c, as part of the DFT takeover.
Since then, and if DTF's own revenue streams are anything to go by, I doubt that VNT has ever really scaled to even some of the heights that its Prospectus, back then, said were even remotely possible.
