NFI. I'm not sure just how set in stone their contribution is. It was actually how this same structure I had perceived was an impediment to majors taking an interest in BMN that had led me to question them both about it at the last AGM, ie what deep pocketed fool would give these two, CJ & NM, a free ride to 20% of riches. It was there I got the verbal from CJ on the pro rata whilst both CJ and NM held up the "fell swoop to blocking stake" argument to counter my reservations.
I will say that its a bearish scenario having a 20% holder who is unable to fund its share, best not mention it round here though lest the herd trample me.
OK I'll try.... Imagine you're RIO or BHP or Cameco or ??Mr got bucks you say take it or leave it to CJ & NM what are the implications if they leave it........ like I said NFI..
IMHO few people rue the GFC as much as these two.
