Let's get the debt reduction into perspective:
"The Australian dollar weakened in the current period such that the reduction in Newcrest’s USD-denominated net debt of USD 819 million was, on translation to AUD at 30 June 2015, a reduction of AUD 174 million. "
Not sure why this the AUD reduction is so low.
