re: looks interesting now..results are great HIGH-GRADE, FOLLOW-UP RESULTS FROM BLACK SNAKE
Shallow, high-grade gold intersections have been returned from follow-up RC drilling at the
Black Snake prospect (refer Figure 1) located 15km east-southeast of Tennant Creek. The best
intersections are:-
• 24m at 8.0 g/t gold from 5m in drill hole BSRC006 (including 3m
at 18 g/t gold from 11m); and
• 20m at 8.6 g/t gold from 4m in drill hole BSRC011 (including 2m
at 31 g/t gold from 22m).
The Company’s Managing Director Mr Joe Ariti said, “based on these shallow, high-grade
results we have commenced a scoping study to determine the viability and permitting
requirements to fast track an open pit development at the Black Snake deposit”.
On 17 January 2005, the Company reported significant intersections from reconnaissance RAB
drilling at Black Snake, which included:-
• 14m at 60 g/t gold from 15m; and
• 11m at 21 g/t gold from 28m.
An initial follow-up program of RC drilling comprising 403 metres in 7 holes has been
completed. This program was designed to test for dip and plunge extensions, and to confirm
grades intersected in the initial program.
