Listen your not alone i know people like you and i could be wrong but it seems your are an emotional trader. This is because of classic signs like share price going up when u have sold and the tone of how u lost money.

Also never enter the market on what i believe silly non correlated superstitions. I have seen people model share prices off different calendars, the moon, season, plants growing or dieing. WHAT THAAA??? i mean seriously why would you compare something not even related to share price movements, i guess that what being human is and why superstitions still exist. The problem arises when u put hard erned cash to it.

Dont get caught up in a stock. and dont get emtional about one stock. What you have lost someone else gained because they thought the opposite of you. If u cant beat them join them. Change your thinking to that of the person who just took you money.

THAT being said its hard to practice what you preach and i even though im saying all this i am a sucker for my own words and also get emotional some times, but hey we are only human after all. The less moeny you have the more attached you become to it. Thus big guns with heaps of money can emotionaly slap you around on the market and take whats in your pocket because to them looseing X amount is not as bad to them as it is to you.

One analogy a user called IPOD made, who i follow very closely, is that treat your shares like a business. lets say a businness selling cans of beans. When you running the store u buy sum cans put it on the shelf see if people what it if demand is high sell it for a profit. if demand is low or lets say there is a kink in it dont become attached just sell it at a discount and move on.

There is so much out there that even i find myself glued to one share while everyone else if takeing profits from other stuff while i still hold on.

I know ppl might think i down ramp and put tumbs down on me but treat NDO like anything else have a look what else is out there. if NDO is a dented can and your seeing a can that everyone is wanted why hold on to it.

People use hot copper to communicate either for reasurance of others by consolidating ideas or knowing others feel the same. Or communicating how u feel so that others may benifit. But its also used to hype ramp or down ramp stuff. Just like the market can be psycological so can HC. Dont let it get the best of you. Im telling you this because i have gone thru the same thing as you(mayeb not the superstition stuff) but everything else.
