I am almost starting to understand KRs point. I don't fully buy into CO2 causing the world to heat up, but the EU are pushing the renewable energy sector very hard. If we can invent a few alternatives to oil, there is a lot of money to be made.
The best incentive for R&D is financial.
Then we can sell coal to the chinese, renewable technology to EU, and UCG to the whole world.
