I got out yesterday and this news explains the pressure i saw on it. There is no good reason for this strategy other than to throw their underwriters a bone by elongating the speculation and retaining the premium. I stuck up for the placement before because they still had price risk but extending the timeline removes that. The real data is grade, we already have enough length according to them to make this drill hole work so changing up an exploration program this way serves no one but the financiers. It doesnt mean it wont hit OK but there's no other way to interpret this news other than a risk management for those wholesale punters and therefore a lack of confidence. The market would be more equitable if they stuck to the meat and veg strategy as opposed to this curious need to figure out depth immediately. GL all.
