OK -> full disclosure - I'm long and I want this to go up. So ive found some interesting details out over the past few days.
TIMBERHILL (electronic market maker) has shorted the shares over the past 3 days.. with a total amount of approx - 127k. Going back over the past month they have bought and sold, however are net short over 300k.. perhaps even 400k. Timberhill is a computerised market making operation and make trades based on volatility etc. How they have become short 400,000 shares is utterly surprising in an illiquid stock like this. All I can assume is the people offering 100k, 200k shares at $1 was a trigger for them to short(they tried to frontrun the larger seller).
Given they are a market maker, they wont stay short forever - and perhaps will buy back if we start moving higher. I think one trigger will be if we can break above the upper Bollinger band (1.07).
I also would like to say, their shorting has been over 40% of the volume for the past few days and has certainly put a cap on the stock.
This is super undervalued, and is a good buying opportunity - if they have to buy back the 400k shares they have shorted, then this will be back above 1.10 in no time.
I have bought more shares today, and I recommend you all buying shares.
Goodluck longs. Stay positive and strong.
