fas has next to no cash, debts, and 35 million shares that the anz have to dispose of on the market. The moment it bobs it head up to anywhere 1/2 respectable anz will be dumping.
No, there is no threat to gwr from fas anymore. In fact fas will almost certainly be required to sell off some of its gwr shares in order to remain afloat.
fas is looking for best buyer of its 25% of gwr. They won't care who buys just as long as they maximise the price. Maybe the blip up in fas s/p today is a sign that someone has made a reasonable offer for their gwr shares.
But alas old $$$$ fas is finished with gwr. FAS is a seller of gwr shares not a buyer.
