Here is a bit of info from RBSmorgan commenting on WPL and AOE with relevant comments on concerns with the timeframe and costs for our project. i figured there is no point just posting the positives, one must consider the good the bad and the ugly. Here are the relevant bits:
"We are increasingly concerned over the cost estimates and timing proposed by LNG Ltd's Fisherman's Landing development and Santos-led Gladstone LNG project. We expect both projects to cost substantially more and take up to a year longer to develop than has previously been indicated. As the preferred gas supplier, a delay and/or cost blowout at Fishermans Landing has negative implications for AOE."
and
"We continue to have concerns over the Fisherman’s Landing LNG project (1.5 mtpa facility scheduled for startup by YE 2012). Downstream FID by the end of this year looks increasingly unlikely, but ultimately this shouldn’t slip the project too much as it’s hard to imagine downstream construction commencing prior to upstream FID being reached (AOE say by end of March 2010). We do not however model LNG sales commencing until FY2014 (6 months later than currently estimated)."
and
"The next 3-6 months are critical for AOE’s short term share price and achieving its medium term growth ambitions. We eagerly await news on progress of LNG Ltd’s Fisherman’s Landing project. Delays in FID may cause some concern but overall we continue to risk the 1st Fisherman’s Landing train at 60%..."
might explain (in part) the retrace? then again might be found in the opinions offered by fellow HC posters
