Drillers are using a scintillometer on the cores as they come out of the ground (see GSE announcement early Dec). In other words the assays don't have to be completed before there are interesting results. Drilling for U, unlike drilling for other metals and minerals, can give instant gratification via a scintillometer. As I speculated yesterday, someone has phoned home with the coded message "Buy Grandma a hat". What colour hat? Yellow, as in cake.
