Salsa you mentioned have introduced investors to Nex. How about you get in touch with the board and see if they can have the options that expire 30th November this year reissued to existing option holders - they would need to do a priority entitlement offer. This is what Eastland Medical (EMS) did recently. Refer announcement;

The priority entitlement offer if undertaken at say 1c would assist in raising further funds which is much needed by the company. The priority entitlement offer would also put options onto the market which have the opportunity to be exercised in the future hence raising further funds.
