re: kcn has .. 22 per cent ..bells sounds 4 next If the news paper article is correct then this calls for a major investigation by ASIC and ASX. The part I'm talking about is:

"The due diligence process began in April and has been lengthy because the interested companies have had to do their own modelling on the Cerro Negro resource. The process so far has drawn out several offers to farm-in to Andean's prospect."

Given the whole thing was about the value of the project, any offer received to farm-in would be a highly important piece of information considering whether to accept the offer or not.

This is definitely not finish yet.

I would expect KCN to have another crack at AND, but I think once KCN has made further progress on the Thai issues... unfortunately for AND shareholders, I would suspect that it will be sooner rather than later and will result in less than 1 for 15.

Given only another 3% of acceptances was required to get 1 for 14, it seems that AND shareholders will ultimately accept for less.

Re CGT, someone was complaining about 5c CGT that would have been payable ... well considering that 4c has been lost from the share price and the CGT bill is still 4c, it doesn't look like it was the best decision in the world.

Time will tell.
