I still don't know how to do this properly... I warned that at the time. The orginal ellipse no... the adjusted and what seems a more logical ellipse yes. The expiry for that is real close, only a few days away.
My problem is I can track the growth spirl for the market up to the 1987 peak and somewhat into 1994.
I know the markets changed perspective in 1987, 1994 and either 1999 or 2000.
Once I figure this out mathematically then I am set and can really apply some heavy stuff to the market. If the markets do bottom in June, it confirms it changed perspective in 2000 and then can apply some heavier & accurate forcasting methods to it which will work until things change again.
It sounds easy enough what I am trying to do above, but unfortuantly when it comes down to the figures it is not.
