I agree with most of what that report said.
I will never vote for Hanson or Palmer, but Labor is definitely losing its base for the reasons stated in the article and it has to get its act together.
I actually think that the Labor leadership has realised this, and when I see Albo on tv he's usually talking more about jobs and less about climate change or minority rights or whatever.
The other thing they have to be careful to avoid is big spending plans because that's a license for the LNP to call them "big spenders and big taxers" like they have for decades. The trendy well offs like this, but those on median and lower incomes who are struggling already get scared that their taxes could be raised.
