Im pretty sure "quocc11" was referring to the fact that old mate was saying the ad was aimed at losers who can't handle their money. After pay is for people who can't handle their money, hence need to buy everything on a loan basis. His reference was also "hinting" at that the fact that after pay is somewhat a success. NOT comparing rent pay to after pay .
I think its a great ad , directed to the younger market , many of which can't afford a mortgage and have to rent and virtually live their lives on their phones and love to have everything automated so they don't have to think for themselves
