RentPay was designed to be renter oriented, but really it is the agent who selected the renter. Anyone who has experience in renting an apartment in Newtown NSW would know. When an apartment is advertised, there are hundreds of application submitted to the agent. Renters without a stable income or low income earner won’t be even considered by the agent or owner. So really if a renter is not affordable to pay for 4weeks bond or need buffer to pay for future rent, then they don’t have much chance to get an apartment in Newtown or suburbs with similar profile, and I suppose those areas around CBD forms majority of renter population.

I’m thinking if Mr Bader is working on some other features which is designed for the agent, rather than keep going with the renter oriented strategy. Rentpay is so quiet for the last 3 months, I’ve not seen much changes since I downloaded the APP 6 months ago.

yes, i've been saying this from the start. A big reason why i sold many moons ago. If they can show their serious about getting agents on board, i might just pile back in.
